Between Fire Station 301 and 302 we operate 1 rescue unit, 3 fire engines, 1 ladder and 3 brush trucks. These emergency vehicles are equipped with certain tools and equipment to assist us in mitigating a wide variety of emergencies to include structure, brush and vehicle fires, motor vehicle crashes, swift water and technical rope rescue incidents.
At NFMD we are trained to respond to “all hazards” and place an emphasis on the importance of preventing emergencies before they occur through public education and code enforcement efforts.
Under the leadership of the fire chief, assistant chief, division chief and fire marshall, our 42 fire suppression and EMS personnel respond from 2 stations. Our greatest strength will always be our people. The men and women of NFMD represent a highly trained, competent and compassionate workforce.
