Santa Cruz County is partnering with area produce businesses to distribute unsold produce. A truckload
(approximately 40,000 pounds) of assorted vegetables will be given away at Nogales High School on
Thursday April 15, 2020 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Area produce vendors have distributed unsold
produce to local food banks in Nogales, as well as food banks in Cochise and Sahuarita. Area produce
vendors are working with local governments and local charities to provide all residents with fresh
produce during these difficult times.
