Responsibilities: Receives supervision and direction from the Finance Director, Finance Revenue Manager, or designee. Assists customers with information requests, billing and payment issues, new service requests, payment plan requests, licensing, account challenges and adjustments, service cut-offs for delinquent accounts by providing courteous, prompt and responsive customer service. Accepts, evaluates and processes payments and other types of transactions to the City’s financial database system, and balances cash drawers daily. Maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and City information. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Education, Certifications and Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent and one (1) year of cashiering/customer service experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Spanish language fluency. Valid Arizona State driver’s license.
Salary/Classification: Position is full-time, FLSA non-exempt, and a Salary Range of 30 ($25,272 – $30,000) plus benefits as outlined in the City’s Personnel Manual.
